What an Approximately 30 cm Pocket Really Means
HaruKumo uses an approximately 30 cm pocket with elastic around the complete fitted-sheet edge. Pocket depth describes the side fabric—it is not a guaranteed maximum mattress height.
WHAT 30 CM REFERS TO
Pocket depth is measured from the top edge to the elasticated hem. Part of this fabric must curve around the mattress and grip underneath.
WHY PART OF THE SIDE MAY SHOW
On a setup around 28 cm high, little fabric remains to tuck underneath. Mattress shape and elastic tension can also pull the middle edges higher.
MEASURE THE COMPLETE SETUP
Include the mattress, topper, padded protector and any permanent fitted layer when measuring the complete height.
Complete side coverage is not guaranteed on every mattress below 30 cm. Choose by width, length and complete setup height—not pocket depth alone.

A setup close to 30 cm may create a snugger fit with less fabric available to tuck underneath. The sides may sit higher, and part of the mattress side or underlayer may remain visible.
